Pretty late to the party on this, I avoided it to read the book first but haven't got a copy yet and got bored and put it on.
The Handmaid's tale is the most disturbing thing I've watched in a long time. I watched the first few episodes of the first series last night and had stressful dreams about it. Almost finished the first series now and I've felt physically sick watching some parts and cried almost every episode.
Thought provoking with scenes and themes that stay with you long after you turn off your telly.
Anyway if anyone else hasn't bothered with it yet I'd highly recommend, uncomfortable but essential viewing.

Watched "Swedish dick",nope it isnt what it sounds like,its 2 Swedish PIs,an easy enough watch and a couple of laugh out loud moments,the cast is mainly unknown,Keanu Reeves makes a few guest appearances and is without doubt the worst actor in it,theres a sheep that actually out acts him
Also started watching The Liberator,a WW2 story,based on real life accounts,its decent but its animated and im struggling to find any real attatchment to the characters because of that,

Its a good story,but the animation spoils it,theres no connection with any of the characters you just dont care what happens to them even though it based on true events
I know what happened to them.They ended up in my FFFIN bin.
