TV Series

Frist episode of Small Axe was v good.

Anybody seen His Dark Materials, just popped up on bbc iplayer, is it any good?
 
Just finished the second series of undercover, can't say I was overly impressed, definitely not a patch on the first, couldn't take to the actress playing Nathalie and a couple more lesser parts. Found it just got silly in the last few episodes.

Think I might give fargo a go, something a bit different, I know I watched the film, and enjoyed it, but it was a long time ago.

1st one i binged watched...this 2nd season is dreadful.

The girl Sharon they painted to be a bombshell like the wife in the 1st...gotta say theyre both not exactly pretty ladies.

Lets itself down with the casting and the bizarre twists.
 

So started on Baki... got through season 1 and some of season 2 but didn’t feel I understood where it was going. Fight.. break for Baki to hold his girlfriends hand.. back to fight.. was entertaining but I wanted awesome

so moved on Kengan Ashura... got to say it’s got me hooked... deep into season 2 now... real connection to the characters!

I loved Season 1 (Part 1 & 2) of Baki when it centred on the criminals but wasn't as much into Season 2 regarding the tournament and fighting his dad.

Kengan Ashura is really good too though!

I think I got frustrated wanting to see what Baki can do. All his mates were the strongest, fastest whatever but he was meant to have beaten them in some tournament...
think I lost patience waiting to see him let loose in a full showdown..

edit.. I’ll be honest.. I watched Kengan during the last 20 mins of the Fulham game .. just couldn’t bare it anymore ! (Was on in the other room in case but didn’t have to watch at least)

This is called Baki the Grappler and is an anime just isn't on Netflix. 2 seasons. Precedes the Netflix seasons.

Are you sure you`re not talking about Nathalie in series 2 ?

The blond girl, who was the partner of the one of the arms dealing brothers ?

If so, she`s much more attractive in real life, as she was made up to look cheap and tarty for her character.

The second series of Undercover was excellent up until around episode 6 and then just went mad.

I think he's referring to the first undercover woman they had at the ranch.

I wouldn't be overly bothered with how they look, but I couldn't take to either actresses, it wasn't the worst series it just tailed off badly.

Natalie in 2 and Sandra.

All a bit sub par...
