I liked the scene with Sutherland and the head teacher. Overall the whole thing is a bit meh unless it spectacularly explodes in the last 2 episodes.

Oh yes it's very slow, but its something to look forward to.

The Mandalorian is great example of how exceptional you can make a TV show by giving it a big budget and backing it with loads of acting & production talent across the board. Season 2 has been my favorite thing to watch since it started and I wouldn't consider myself an especially big Star Wars fan.

Just binged watched Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes. Watched them first time around, good tbf. Keely Hawes, just wow. Strange to see Adrian Dumbar, Line of Duty, playing a bent copper.

Just watching the latest series of The Crown on Netflix.

If this was a family living in Norris Green, social services would be removing the kid's on grounds of neglect and emotional cruelty.

Just binged watched Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes. Watched them first time around, good tbf. Keely Hawes, just wow. Strange to see Adrian Dumbar, Line of Duty, playing a bent copper.

The good news is that a third series is production, with no release date.

I didn`t realise that it`d also been sold in various forms across the world, Russia, China, the States, South Korea, Czech

Gene Hunt is one of the best TV characters ever invented and unintentionally knocked John Simms character for six.

I`m half way through and it`s not bad.

Kind of like a low rent version of the Man in the High Castle.

Yeah started off really good,kind of loses its way after a while,think i have jibbed the 2 most recent ones off

Starts interestingly enough...but once you stop watching you lose all interest to go back to it.

None of the characters are interesting really...

Spot on, the only character you really care about is the little girl and at a push the old lady / mother ( who I thought was excellent, as she knitted it all together )

It`s a shame, as it had all the ingredients to be good, a cross between Orwell`s 1984 and the Man in the High Tower.

Ultimately it all felt a bit flat in the end.

Just finished Barbarians rising - absolutely brilliant 4x 90 minute episodes 95 % acted out - from Hannibal to the Vandals covering 700 years of the Roman Empire & any leader who tried to stand up to them .... great watch -
