TV Series

No problems mate, it might still be good and I'm going to give it a watch, but did sound a bit different.

I didn't like the film at first, but watched it again recently and found it very funny. You should read the book, lots of dry humour in it. Bateman adores Donald Trump.

It`s a shame that they didn`t make an " uncut " version of the film, as cutting out a lot of the insane levels of brutality and violence in the book, to get the it through the censors for a mainstream release, really detracts from the film. ( the scene with the woman and the rat for instance )

Patrick Bale was born to play Bateman though.

He is a very good Bateman. I have to say, I kind of think Batman is also Bateman now too. Lot of overlap.

Christian Bale got a brother?

@jaycee have you watched the series Maniac on Netflix?

I’m three episodes in, it’s proper quality and very very good but one of the oddest things I’ve ever watched.

Set slightly in the future, Jonah Hill and Emma Stone play two troubled strangers who enter a drug trial, where things go very badly wrong.

I can’t really compare to anything I’ve ever seen, but there’s little touches of other stuff in there, like the film Moon and Blade Runner.

I’ll give my verdict once I’ve watched it all ( 10 episodes)

It's good.

Not read the book of American Psycho but it's one of my favourite films. Christian Bale was brilliant

It's up there with Alien and Aliens for me. Myself and one of my friends practically communicate entirely in American Psycho quotes.

Disagree slightly though, I hated the book. Admittedly I'm no fan of Ellis, but I found it pondering and boring and felt like he was just trying to shock for its own sake. The movie is perfect imo

I watched the first episode of this a while back and it wrecked my head and ended up jibbing it. Might re-visit it when I’m stuck for something to watch.
