six episodes in and so do I.
Had to buy Disney+ in the end for WandaVision so thought I’d give Mandalorian another go but honestly, it’s basically just an RPG game. “Go collect this, go kill this”. It’s basically me playing WoW on my own TV.
Just re-watching Royle Family, as you do, and two things struck to mind:
1. Jim is a smoker but you never see him smoke on the show.
2. Are they proper ciggies they smoke/pretend to smoke on the show? You wonder how bad passive smoking was on TV back then. Denise died of lung cancer in real life too.

Finished S1 of Borgen last night. Struggled with Ep1 until I sussed out how to turn off the ‘all over the place’ English dubbed version and watch it in Danish with English subtitles. Thought it was very good. Not as good as The West Wing which has more likeable characters and humour. Look forward now to S2 &3

watched Wandavision over the weekend, they have only put 2 episodes online and they release another one on Friday, I think there will be 9 episodes in total. But they are only 20 minutes long (with 6 minutes of end credits, no special scenes, just the names of every person who has ever worked for Marvel or Disney). I get why disney do this, so people dont just buy 1 month and binge the whole thing.
It was weird, without spoiling anything. If you dont have Disney plus already I would say wait for another 7 weeks, until they are all released and then watch the whole 3 hours all in one go, then it might sort of make sense.

Its an interesting take on the dead coming back to life but after about 3 episodes the plot just repeats itself untill it finishes (3 seasons of 6 eps, ~50 mins each). Its really disappointing and I only kept watching it hoping it would change. People are just plain stupid in it, too.

I watched around one and a half series of it,as you say it ends up going round in circles plus you couldnt take to any of the characters in it
Currently half way through series one of possibly the maddest thing I`ve seen in years - El Marginal.

A disgraced ex cop is sent undercover into a dilapidated jail, to track down and rescue a kidnapped Judges daughter, who is being held there by a prison gang, with the blessing of the bent prison governor.
It`s hard to describe really, as it really is that mad and off the wall, but probably the best way to describe it would be, a very violent prison drama, that makes the inmates of the hospital in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest as normal.
It`s won a shed load of awards from European critics, which is what drew me to it.
Three series and a full review after I`ve finished series one ( 13 episodes )

I liked Charlie but yeah the others weren't interesting.
I really hoped it would be more about them coming back and adjusting to life in a modern world, especially for the really old ones like Charlie, but nah it just got full of itself and weird. In the last season they actually claimed

5 episodes into the Stand now,still dont know if I like it,could be bias as its my favourite King book and I have pictured how the characters look and sound so its difficult to shift my mindset from that,though it is doing a reasonable job of trying to capture the book
Finally started watching Mindhunter at the weekend after putting it off for ages and have got through all bar final episode of Series 1. Have been very pleased with it and am looking forward to bingeing Season 2...
