This is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time :

The Santa Clarita Diet.

A husband and wife lead a dull, perfect, shiny life, as husband and wife estate agents and live with their dull and shiny neighbours, in a dull, shiny and perfect neighbourhood in California.

The lady becomes violently ill and when after a short period of time she recovers, it turns out not only is she dead, but can only survive on human flesh.

Ultra black comedy, brilliantly written and Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant are perfectly cast as the husband and wife.

3 series, but each episode is only 25 mins long, so really easy to fly through. Massively tongue cheek and takes the piss out of the American Middle Class something rotten.

Highly recommended.

So, I've watched four episodes of the mini series "The Five" after getting it recommended by a mate and it's got some of the most wooden acting I've ever seen. The dialogue is also awkward, even though the plot is mildly interesting. Not sure if I can stomach watching the last six episodes.

Also finished Fargo season 2 again. Good stuff.

Watched the 1st series when it came out and thought it was superb, just couldnt get into the second series though

Well just watched episode 3 of wandavision and safe to say in definitely intrigued now. Certainly moving into more familiar MCU territory now.
First two Episodes left me pretty puzzled where it was going and while it’s still not entirely clear where it will end up, at least seems to have a point now.

I’m loving it. It’s giving little away but I’m on edge constantly even with the comedic overlay to it.

Big fan so far. Been watching a Youtube channel where they point out all the Easter Eggs and theorise on who's who among the recurring characters. Never read the comics so it's a great little resource for me after an episode putting a few extra layers on things.

For instance I never clocked that...SPOILER!!!

Wanda was the one who caused Mr.Hart to choke in the first episode as he was asking too many questions. And while his wife was laughing and saying "Stop it.." she'd turned and was looking directly at Wanda. It was the chocolate covered strawberry from earlier in the episode that Vision pulled out.

Just started Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories on Netflix.

It's great. It's about a chef that opens his noodle bar 12-6am. It's just him cooking and chatting to the few customers and them chatting amongst themselves. It's fictional.

I'm probably describing it badly. It feels a bit like being at the bar in your local. Different characters, stories etc.

Started this tonight but realised my series is just called Midnight Diner. Need to check if this is like the first show haha.

I think it is. I think it started as manga, then Japanese TV (the one you are watching) and then Netflix picked it up for the one I am watching.

Just watched first episode. Seen it before ages ago but thought I'd give it another shot. Brilliant

Watching this NXIVM documentary on Amazon Prime... genuinely don't understand how people fall for these grifters, it's like Americans (even seemingly educated ones) just have a huge blind spot to incredibly obvious grifting.
