TV Series

Really enjoyed it. Season 2 will drop, I think, after the next Thor film.

I'm really glad the big bad they introduced was who I thought it should have been from the start. WandaVision shafted me in that regards.
I loved WandaVision though. I had it ahead of Loki as my favourite of the three series… until today’s episode. Not sure now.

Loki > WandaVision > Falcon for me personally. I was just pissed Mephisto never popped up in WandaVision.

I'm enjoying how all the series are in essence mini bridging films to the MCU Phase 4.
Today’s episode is going to be HUGE going forward. Provides the solution to bringing in X-Men, F4, etc etc

Agree a lot with this, though Falcon's ending was better than Wandavisions (which was a complete and utter cop-out).

Wandavision and FATWS had significant disadvantages.

WV was supposed to end with Dr Strange making an appearance, but Benedict Cumberbatch couldn't travel because of COVID.

FATWS's main plot point was supposed to be centred around a weaponised virus. That plot device got canned for... obvious reasons.

Considering the level of upheaval both had, think they did impressively good jobs with them

Fair enough. Couldn't disagree more, like, but opinions are opinions

The whole thing was flawed from the concept for me. It was The Avengers that created the time variance, and it was never explained as to how anyone would or even could become a variant.

If the TVA exist outside the timeline then why didn’t they just reset it to when they picked up Loki rather than just bumble along. Too many holes and poorly written, when it could have been great.

I always took it as a variant being a version of a person from a parallel universe within the multiverse and the TVA overseeing the multiverse to make sure harmony ensues (as explained by **** in the last episode). They couldn't reset the sacred timeline because they couldn't locate Sylvie to prune her.

As I say, really disagree.

It was explained that the Avengers travelling through time didn't create new strand because that was what was "supposed" to happen, and was part of the "sacred timeline". Loki however wasn't supposed to pick up the Tesseract, and THAT is what caused a branch/nexus event. They didn't reset it immediately because they needed Loki to help find Loki/Sylvie who they so far hadn't been able to find/stop.

Sorry you didn't enjoy it though. I thought it was boss. Also
Jonathan Majors
was awesome
