I’d say not.

In fact I’d say the added bits detract from the film the standard film.

Tbh, forget metaphors about the thin veneers of civilisation and the heart of darkness that belong in us all, I only watch it for this :

Curon - 8 parter on Netflix, Italian.

Erm.... not bad. Supernatural family chiller, very much informed by the likes of The Returned and Dark. The Italian alps setting is something different, it looks great, the young leads are compelling and it ticks along nicely. You'll need a hefty suspension of disbelief and it maybe lacks a bit of edge, but if you fancy a wintry euro-spooky you could do worse.

I recently re watched Breaking Bad and I’ve gone straight on to Better Call Saul. I’m glad I watched BB again as it freshened up my memory and it’s made BCS more relevant.

I’m really enjoying Better Call Saul. It stands up on its own as a really good series. I’m only at the start of series 3 but it’s got the potential to be as good as Breaking Bad for me.

Bob Odenkirk is a very good actor.

Breaking Bad is an all time favourite of mine but this seems a bit more polished in some ways.

Onto episode 4, it`s excellent, really polished and moves at a cracking pace.

You can see the influences from Last Train to Busan all over it too.
