TV Series

Watched the six episodes made for TV trilogy of the Millennium books.
On IPlayer at the moment. Two episodes per book at hour and a half each.
Brilliant, no other words for it.
I read the books first, in reverse order (don't ask!) and in the main so faithful to the books.
Thoroughly recommend but quite graphic.
+1

I’ve just finished this, also thought it was excellent

started to watch the German noir/political thriller Babylon Berlin, set during the turbulent era of the Weimar republic. Very well-crafted show and cleverly plotted. The caveat is that the storylines can be very intricate, had to visit online resources for clarification sometimes which i never have to do. But overall, definitely a quality watch.

With the added bonus of Liv Lisa Fries (Charlotte Ritter) getting her kit off ;)

It`s one of my favourite tv series of all time.

Lance Henriksen is standout in the lead.

Without ruining it for you, they cancelled the pencilled in last series, which leaves a lot of stuff " hanging ".

Is this a different Millennium?

I thought @tommytowne was talking about Stieg Larsson's Millennium
Yes I was. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and so on. From what COYBL25 posted I thought that there may be other episodes than the first three, in much the same way that spin off novels have been written.
I'm repeating myself here but some fascinating background on the author that raises many questions if you buy into conspiracy theories.

Yeh I mean it's only using lore from LoL. You don't need to even know there is a game to love it.
I knew of Jinx and LoL is a MOBA. Thats as far as my interest went with LoL. Tried the series, thought it was ok.....some interesting things going on. Then the last 2 episodes, IMO, were excellent!!
