Love the Michael Connolly books.
Bosch is one of my all favourite all time characters, up there with Rebus.
Not seen the TV series , sure I'd get disappointed.

You maybe surprised. Obviously the actor who plays Bosch, physically is very different, he gets the characters' motivations.
Each series takes 3 of the books and combines, for the most part, really well.
Last season wasn't as 'smooth' but think that was more to it being made whilst Covid was still issue.

I thought it was probably one of the weaker roles I’ve seen Stephen Graham in. Was a bit outshone maybe. Really liked the interplay between Cavendish and Drax. Not sure I’d like to be stuck in a lift with them mind.

Yeah, the dynamic of personalities in that scene is mad in a way but it still worked so well

Completely mad, the inability to think of anyone but themselves is captivating. The inability to plan or consider for other people and then be blindsided by those people in turn acting out of self interest was great.

Probably going to watch it again this evening.

I've been working my way through Lost In Space on Netflix. It's not particularly wonderful but it's not the worst thing I've ever watched. Mostly a nostalgia kick - used to watch the original 60s version repeated 9n C4 (I think) as a kid.
