TV Series

Soon as I see the character list and/or trailer I'll know how I'm going to find it. I'm sure I'll still love it even if it's crap just because it's more Tolkein content.
I was like that once and then I saw those terrible Hobbit movies and I realised that having more content sometimes isn't worth it when you get stuff like that.

It'll either be incredible or a massive flop.

The content they're basing it on is only know by proper Tolkein fans so I excpet them to not be so strict with it as they'll be aiming more for the LotR/Hobbit film audience than the novels.
I think they will be restricted on the content and how it’s portrayed by the Tolkien Society who laid down strict conditions for Amazon as part of the filming rights deal.

Stuff like storylines and dialogue cannot be altered to any great degree from the original material taken mainly from the LOTR appendices and the Silmarillion.

If they get this right it will be massive. Big IF though

The Responder.

First three episodes, were really good.
Episode four went a bit flat.
Episode five felt rushed and could`ve done with a sixth episode.

All in all, good, but just a little bit lacking in the end.

They unearthed a couple of jems, in the young actors who played Marcus and Casey though.

@tommytowne he did your missus proud, despite the language lol

It's been six days since 1883 episode 6 aired in the US and it's still not up on Paramount plus (at least not in Norway). At this rate I'll rather download it than keep subscribing.

I started watching that murderville programme where American people do improv stuff to a loose script. Was worried it may be smug and unfunny. So was presently surprised when I found out it was not only smug and unfunny but also got cramp in my toes from cringing.
