Starting watching Sneaky Pete, enjoying it for what is it but not very plausible to me

I started watching that murderville programme where American people do improv stuff to a loose script. Was worried it may be smug and unfunny. So was presently surprised when I found out it was not only smug and unfunny but also got cramp in my toes from cringing.

It originally came from BBC 3 and was a cult / word of mouth show, where they’d get Z list celebs on and rip them to bits.

Some of it was comic genius.

The original one on BBC 3 was very hit and miss.

It depended on how much the “ celeb “ engaged with what was going on or how thick they were.

When the celeb really engaged and got into it or was a total doom brain, it was genuinely very funny.

Reacher on Amazon Prime has been surprisingly good (if you are a fan of the books).
Far more character accurate than the films, both in terms of casting and violence.
If not a fan of the books I can imagine it might be considered a bit meh but I’ve got my new binge series for a few days.

Enjoying Station 11 on Prime (UK). Different approach to post-apocalyptic dystopian future. And weird seeing a grown up actor who played Tamwar Masood in Eastenders Himesh Patel.

I am a big fan of the books and the book that this first series is based on was immediately honoured by the scene right at the start whereby you see the road upon which he walks, change from a rough track to a well tended tarmac surface.
Watched the first two last night and very much enjoyed it.
After the ridiculous casting of Tom Cruise as Jack in the films, it was refreshing to see someone in the role who I imagined he would be.
In fact when he took his old tee shirt off, it was remarkable how much his physique resembled mine.

Best advice I can give is watch the first two episodes back to back and make sure you sit through them & not get distracted.

After doing that the addiction will kick in.

It's not going to hold your hand or do much of the traditional exposure dialogue, but it's easily the greatest thing to come out of the USA and I include Tim Howard in that.

I found it hard to get into at first but once it clicked for me it quickly became my favourite tv show of all time.

You simply have to stick at it. You will get it by the end of series one.
