Just finished watching Inventing Anna, about a girl accused of being a fake German heiress and trying to defraud Wall St banks and hotels. Was pretty decent, binged it in a couple of nights. It’s only one season so don’t need to invest to much time in it.

Feria - The Darkest Light - Netflix

Spanish with subs. Set in a stunning village in Adalusia, members of a satanic cult, commit mass suicide in an old disused mine outside the town. Bad things then start happening, as the evil in the mine starts to spread.

Some good and some bad with this one.

The location and cinematography are stunning. The story is good / really spooky, generally the acting is good, but gets a bit bogged down at times with teen stuff, plus there’s a few massive plot holes.

The biggest let down was the last episode, as it builds to this really big finale, which doesn’t really happen, which I assume, is to pave the way for series 2.

If you like occult stuff, you’ll like this.

Archive 81 - Netflix.

As others have said, the first six episodes are really good, genuinely creepy, unsettling and dark as anything.

You can see the influences, from the likes of the film Sinister, Stranger Things and Dark.

However, the last two episodes are just silly and undo all the good stuff of the first six episodes.

A real shame.

Still following Euphoria which fascinates me. Like 90210 on spice and ketamine. Some great acting from the younguns as well.

Its shot so well too. The 2nd season is shot purely on film, very impressive use of light.

The last two episodes reminded me of something from the Hammer House of Horror.

It was a shame, as up until then it was really good, very creepy and unsettling.

She’s very good in it. In fairness most of them are. Can be an incredibly tough watch at times, especially that episode last week. But it’s a really good show

Just about to start watching this. If its made well then there is quite an interesting story to be told with all the factors over the past year or so such as COVID, George Floyd protests, Nascar banning confederate flag, the infamous Noose incident etc and also his first ever win.
