Saw the trailer for this a few weeks back. An utterly bizarre concept lol does seem funny though.

It is very quirky and has made me laugh a lot.

There was supposedly a 2nd season -- same with el candidato.

No idea what happened to them both...maybe postponed due to covid

Whats the deal on dopesick? I looked at the writeup and it says its about the effects of drug use or something?

Finished Archive 81, it was decent enough i thought if you like supernatural stuff. I finished season 1 of Top Boy as well, didn't realise summerhouse was 11 years old now. Started Sequestered, early doors still and Onto season 3 of Mr Mercedes which I picked back up, I left it when it went all weird but once I wrapped my head around its change in direction it was good.

its very good, basically big pharma are essentially legalised drug cartels

Just finished Top Boy, brilliant show. Did anyone catch the scene in Top Boy that was very similar to the Avon & Stringer balcony scene in the wire?

I thought it was interesting, almost a mirror image scene. Deshane (Stringer) wants to move away from the street and into the business side and become more legitimate, Sully (Avon) only knows the street life and doesn't want to try and try and go straight.

For those who have watched the wire will know what happens next...

I too have just finished watching Top Boy.
Best piece of British TV I've seen in many a year.
I've started watching the C4 Top Boy, renamed Summerhouse. Early days only a couple of episodes in but it's fascinating to see the main characters at the start of their careers. It will more than supplement my enjoyment.

Tried really really tried to like it and just could not get in to it. Did the first 2 seasons and it didn't even touch the sides compared to the likes of FAUDA............. WHICH JUST HAS YOU x
