TV Series

Stopped watching peaky blinders a season or two ago...the characters turn it into a parody that isnt funny.

Didnt realise killing eve was out yet :)

My brilliant friend -- life story of 2 women in Naples? Seems a bit girly unless theyre meeting Ciro and Genny.

Are there any decent series which have launched this year? Ipcress file was top notch but cant think of any others...

The Falklands War : The Untold Story
On Channel 4 last night, superb documentary featuring first time interviews from key players involved the conflict. Very surprised that we won the war due to the amount of bungling that took place. The head of the SAS certainly didn't mince his words, and others were equally forthright. It's well worth a watch.

I'm finding killing eve a bit boring this season. The episode we watched last night was better (not sure how far through we are). But like peaky blinders, feeling let down by it.

Cheers ;) is the topic drug addiction? Sounds a bit depressing?

Havent started the new killing eve yet...quite looking forward to Slow Horses with Gary Oldman in a couple of days...spy drama.

Not seen much so far this year (aside from a new season of an existing series) that catches my attention.

One series that seems to have gone under the radar is 'El Candidato' with James Purefoy.

Looking forward to an update of season two for that. Same for 'ZeroZeroZero'.

Just finished Top Boy, brilliant show. Did anyone catch the scene in Top Boy that was very similar to the Avon & Stringer balcony scene in the wire?

I thought it was interesting, almost a mirror image scene. Deshane (Stringer) wants to move away from the street and into the business side and become more legitimate, Sully (Avon) only knows the street life and doesn't want to try and try and go straight.

For those who have watched the wire will know what happens next...
