If you ever listen to his xfm shows you’ll get onto the fact he’s been doing it for 20 years.
I had to turn it off after ten minutes.
If you ever listen to his xfm shows you’ll get onto the fact he’s been doing it for 20 years.
I got 15 mins in, and he’d rehashed a joke from the office about not being able to think of any funny black British comedians, rehashed to being about any funny women.
He did 5 or 10 mins on Trans stuff which had a few mildly amusing, well delivered punchlines, but if your act is saying things comedically that Piers Morgan said seriously 12 months ago, it maybe time get a new act.
What annoyed me to turn it off, was a bit that started about Louis CK being cancelled (he hasn’t been, he’s just won a Grammy, and is selling out Wembley Arena at £65 a ticket), but it then fed into a bit about Kevin Hart being cancelled for decade old tweets being surfaced.
The bleeding together of those very different things as if they were the same actions that led to the ‘cancellation’, felt like a cynical and dishonest bait and switch, and got my back up, so it went off. Will watch the rest at some point maybe.

Tune was called '' Eyelevel'' by Simon Park. I just have this image of the kids on TOTP trying to dance to it . With Jimmy Savile lurking in the background waiting .
