TV Series

The first two episodes of Kenobi where pretty good and enjoyable. I just had a few issues.

1) I like the character but I honestly thought that the third sister of the inquisitors was a bit to OP for my liking and I think it a bit daft that she'd know that Vader is Anakin.

2) I'm really hoping that they haven't killed off the Grand Inquisitor like it looked in episode two because that would be a major retcon to Disney's own canon. And a complete middle finger to anyone who bothers to watch/read other material outside of the main live action films and shows.

3) Just like every other Disney Star Wars project I feel like there's far to many humans and nowhere near enough cool aliens in memorable roles. It just feels like a bit of a waste and a let down to me tbh.

4) The entire thing seems to be inevitably leading to a Vader Vs Kenobi fight and that's a massive mistake imo. They're cheapening both of their duels from the films if they just add another for this. Sometimes more is less. There's good fan service and then there's bad fan service. This would 100% be the latter.

Still though, I'm looking forward to next Wed and seeing where episode 3 goes.

She knew because she was one of those younglings that were at the Jedi temple during Order 66. That's why they showed that at the beginning. So she knew the whole story of Anakin becoming Vader thanks to Palatine.

Yeah I understood that she was a youngling and knew that Anakin had gone bad. I'm just not sure how would she know that this big half-cyborg guy is also Anakin. That's supposed to be a massive secret. Disney have tried to establish again and again and again that hardly anyone knows who Vader is apart from Palpatine and Tarkin. Even Thrawn only suspects the truth. Ahsoka doesn't know either. It just seems a bit out of left field to suddenly say "oh yeah, this random Inquisitor that was a youngling in a backflash we showed you before? Yeah she knows everything". To me, It just seems a bit video gameish for them to just add major players knowing things like that at this point.

Really enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
I enjoyed them as well. I was a kid when the prequels were released and its what got me obsessed with star wars.

Really glad McGregor is getting a chance to do something more with Obi-Wan after the disappointment of the prequels/reactions to them.

Just watched the first two episodes of Obi-Wan

... and was distinctly underwhelmed by them. The writing was incredibly lazy, with all manner of things (especially in episode 2) just happening without any explanation of how or why they did. Likewise all the characters acted in ways that often made no sense, with the inquisitors vs the first Jedi at the start being a particularly bad example. The villains were horrendously cartoonish as well, and not in a good way.
