TV Series

Star Wars: Andor is really good. Most of Disney's Star Wars stuff has been really poor imo (with the exception of the Mandalorian and Rogue One) but just three episodes into this and I'm loving it. It actually feels more way more Star Wars then people give it credit for. It feels like one of the old EU books to me.
Just started this last night. It feels like it is targeting an older audience so far. ?

Rewatching Yellowstone atm. 1883 to follow. I just love these shows, they're the best I've seen in years. I find them soothing, for some reason.

Also gotta say I think House of the Dragon is easily better than the last 3-4 seasons of GoT. It's been impressive thus far.

The Lord of the Rings series is just as expected, a bit bland, I find it to be too polished and bright/soulless (if that makes any sense). I also don't find enough of the characters interesting (I haven't seen the last two eps yet). My favorite part is the storyline with the black elf guard fella. The characters who're also in the original trilogy (especially Galadriel) don't feel like the same people at all.

I mean, there's only 2 really (Elrond & Galadriel) and it is set 6,000 years before LotR starts.

I’ve been watching both and had the choice this week one night. It was easy, Rings all the way. There’s just enough faithful stuff to make connections with the real stories. Especially when it’s been so long since I read all the books. It’s just a better show than HoD, each episode holds your interest. HoD is just a bit meh. I like it don’t get me wrong but I’m looking forward to RoP all week but not HoD.

Can I watch house of dragons if I've never seen GoT? Without getting confused or missing anything?
