TV Series

That LOTR show is actually quite bland when all is said and done. Its still quite watchable but the story is just a very meh considering that we're past the halfway point of season one. Plus some of the lines and dialogue are just unforgiveably bad......?‍♂️

Of all the modern serial killers, Dahmer seems to get a lot more sympathy then most - he doesn’t seem to follow the normal psychopath narrative. He’s often referred to as a monster (his crimes were monstrous), but he’s not often referred to as evil. He seems to have been a very damaged individual, the product of a bleak upbringing, but he does demonstrate emotion, albeit very badly skewed, and channelled. I mean, he killed at least 17 men in gruesome fashion, so he’s no innocent, but he does seem to be looked upon differently to the likes of Bundy, Ramirez, etc.
Episode 6 of the Dahmer series 'silenced' was one of the best episodes of any series I've seen.

Watched 2 epis of Andor, I really like the boy Luna, so im biased, it seems alright.

As far as GOT2 and LOTR2, both much of muchness for me, decent stories, lovely settings, basically chocolate milkshake, without cream on top.

GOT1 and LOTR1 had the cream.

No he does not.

If you check out his interview, the jail confessions interview with Nancy Glass, you can see he expresses no emotion at all. The casualness in the way he talks in detail, the one tone voice and barely batting an eye lid, he shows zero emotion. He could be talking about going fishing with his dad, drinking beer or how he drilled holes into human skulls to inject acid because he wanted to create living zombie's, his voice tone never changes. Its chilling.

Start getting interested in Rings then something happens and I go give me break , Galadriel's entrance onto the Warship ? , also the least I see of Elrond the better , in fact most of the elves are just too syrupy .

As I've said previously, I've stopped seeing The ROP as a Tolkien show and I don't mind it for the most part. Its fairly enjoyable at times, so I don't really care about things that differ from Tolkien's work providing that its good and entertaining.

With that being said, its staggering to me that the people who wrote the show managed to reduce such a deep emotional story arc about the philosophical debate of immortality and death (that in the books is essentially the whole reason why Numenoreons dislike elves) into a blunt and painfully stereotyped "they're trying to take our jobs!". Its just unreal to me that people got paid so well to write such tripe......
