You`ll want to read the book again, as there`s so many subtle little things that you miss the first time around.

Finished watching The Peripheral the other day. Can't decide if it's decent or absolutely terrible. Some good actors, some really bad ones. Story is initially intriguing but quickly runs out of steam. Don't really care about any of the characters or want to know what happens to them. And yet I'd probably still watch a second series if they made one.

I have been watching that kid onto episode 3 I think.

The tv series sits inbetween the original film and the American remake, in terms of quality.

It`s very good and although they`ve added a couple of different plot lines, to flesh it out, the major elements that made the original film so good, are in the tv series- the beautiful relationship between the lonely little boy and the little vampire and the devotion of the human carer ( her father in the tv series ).

The cast is excellent and the cinematography is fantastic too, making full use of the seediness of the run down areas New York, to max effect.

The original film is an 11/10

The American remake is a 7/10

The tv series is an 8/10.

A more fleshed out version actually sounds like it could be interesting, so I might check it out. Thanks!

Caught up, no level drop from first season, full of intrigue. Reckon I’d have made a good intelligence officer some of the things they miss.
