I see the OP mentioned The Shield. Stopped watching that when I learnt that one of its main actors murdered his wife.

Been watching Happy Valley and will be binge watching The Wire sometime soon.

The shield is a cracking series, if your talking about the police drama..

You gotta give that another go or you might regret it..

Yea it's starting to feel very 'the walking dead'

The Walking Dead went on about 7 seasons too long but I think the first season of that was far better than this. They are making these episodes boring for about 90% of the time. Dragging out scenes and doing a lot of box ticking. I don't mind the box ticking if it's worthwile or interesting but they are centralising most of the storylines around it.

Maybe it's because I haven't played the game, but I expect more from a TV series than what this is giving but do feel like it has a lot of potential so am sticking with it for now.

Finally catching up on S2 of Mayor of Kingstown, typical paint by numbers Ray Donovan rip off, but still very enjoyable to me, I like the boy Renner.
