I agree with you there mate.
I haven't watched it since Matt Smith's first episode.
But I like Ncutu, and I really like Russel T Davies, but my god what an awful hour of television.

DW Christmas specials are always a bit weird and never really comparative to the actual series in my view. It was a bit of fun, massively aimed at kids (with it being Xmas more so than normal episodes).
Saying that, I enjoyed seeing Ncuti and Millie, thought they have a lot of natural chemistry. It feels a refreshing change from some previous doctors and companions. Feels more high energy as well that it’s been missing recently.
Love it. Invasion is also great tv.
Invasion is worth it for shioli kutsuna alone.

Decided to give the Doctor Who Christmas Special a go yesterday. Found it okay but didn't feel the new bloke was "quirky" enough to be a good Doctor, but I guess time will tell.
Also had a go at season two of Reacher but only lasted the first episode. I might give it another try, not sure yet though.

booked the 3 days in between the holidays so have a nice break from work. I have binge watched a couple of decent series from the Iplayer. Both Irish. KIN and Blue Lights. Really enjoyed both
