They might have been if given the proper treatment. But as it turned out, the storyline and character conclusions were an unhinged mess. Easily the worst ending to a series I've loved

House of the Dragon is ace though, hopefully they've learned their lessons

Absolutely superb stuff, amongst Fincher's best.


Also, little shout out to The Punisher, Jon Bernthal in the role he was born to play. The first season was outstanding.

Still never got my head around the cancellation of Mind Hunter, as it had very good viewing figures and the critics loved it too.

Apparently it was down to cost.

Yep, very expensive to make apparently. Fantastic show, certainly hasn't overstayed its welcome and I hold out hope they'll eventually make another

Totally agree on The Punisher mate. That first series was *Chef's kiss. It could have been great though in spite of a weak second season, like a few others.

I read Mindhunter's, let's say, "shelving" was down to Fincher being drained by the effort required to maintain such a demanding series, emotionally and financially.

I still Google "Mindhunter Season 3" every now and then, just hoping.....hoping.

Just finished “One Day” on Netflix. Absolutely ace - massive shout out for this one. Screenplay adaptation, casting, acting all first class.

Solid 9/10 for me

Oh and banging soundtrack - Stone Roses, N-Joi, the Verve etc…Boss

One thing I will say is, if they end up cancelling Kingdom, I am ditching Netflix for good. Just found out they stealth cancelled Black Summer so I am on the edge.

Just re-watching the Hellraiser episode (s5ep5) of Rick and Morty. Superb! Possibly the best episode.
