TV Series

What about series that should have been cancelled.
I loved 24, even though it was completely ridiculous. Should have wrapped up after season 4 or at least got some proper writers in instead of outsourcing to local schools.
Maybe it was just of it’s time and couldn’t keep up.

Lost started great but actually got lost.

Game of Thrones was ruined by a stupid ending.

Walking dead should have ended a few seasons in.

Great shows rarely end well. Breaking Bad and Succession maybe, can't think of many others off the top of my head. Some of them are lacklustre or anti-climactic and some, like Game of Thrones, choose violence and almost single-handedly destroy its own legacy. I can't rewatch even the first few amazing seasons knowing how it ended

X Files creator, Chris Carter’s outstanding Millennium series.

Lance Henriksen ( outstanding ) played Frank Black, an FBI profiler, with the gift of being able to see into the minds of serial killers, who may or may not have been controlled by the devil.

The whole three series where genuinely creepy, sinister, dark and disturbing and Henriksen was born to play the part of Frank Black.

And introduced the all time great character of the shape shifting - Tomes.

I was gutted when they pulled it and made even worse by the fact that Henriksen was getting close to proving whether the Devil was real or not.3E2E0A11-FF92-4DE2-AF74-DCE7F23C5FB4.webp

Dexter was a great premise but should have been 4 seasons, maybe 5 max.

8 was ridiculous and the ending was so bad they needed to re-make a final season ten years later, which wasn't bad by the way

One of the greatest episodes of TV I’ve ever seen was that episode of Succession where they are on the boat to celebrate the brothers wedding….the acting was superb
