Sorry to clog the thread but as someone has just said Succession is absolutely brilliant. Essentially Shakespearian style scheming and shenannigans in corporate America.

Now I’d agree with this, if it was this time last year, but I watched TD season 1 again earlier this year, and it may be my built up perception of it over time, but whilst I enjoyed it, I revised my opinion of it.

Yea same. Second half is noticeably weaker than the first half. A lot of plot holes as well. Felt last couple of episodes were rushed and off pace.

Still a great series though.

Yeah, the plot holes were gaping, but its easily forgotten after we get Daddarios bangers.

Just finished The Acolyte. Absolute train wreck from end to end. It's been hit and (largely) miss from Disney but I've usually found something to enjoy but this is devoid of character, narrative or skill in execution. Dreadful.

I really wish Ridley Scott would just come out with a video that explained the lore of the Alien universe to me. I am so lost now trying to keep up.

After many attempts to watch Love/Hate and usually giving up by episode 3 I've managed to stick with it and am now on series 2. Think I still prefer KIN though as it's more polished older people in it.

It gets much better from season three mate, first two seasons seem very amateur. Would reccomend sticking with it

Each series gets progressively stronger and more polished.

As it gained viewers, they`ve obviously invested more and more money in each series.

Also the metamorphosis of " Nidge " the likeable family man, into the monstrous " King Nidge " is some of the best writing I`ve seen in a British drama.

I was genuinely gutted when it finished.

Pure nostalgia is the only thing that's stopped me hating it completely but it is fairly terrible at this point, I'll watch it to the end now but it probably should have ended with the last series, even that was pushing it.
