I think Elliot page would make a really good bond.
He’s saying that people are getting angry at the prospect of a black or female Bond but are happy to ignore the failings of a rotten bigot like Connery.
No years later when he said about itDid he become Bond after these things occurred though? Kinda switches it up if he did.
Tend to agree but I’m not entirely against it, does seem more about political correctness though.
My main objection with those two is I just don’t think they’re that good, certainly not for that role anyway.
With the right story and in a different Bond ‘universe’ John David Washington could be good I think.
I’m of an age where Bond had undercover run in’s with Russians etc and a non white person simply doesn’t work with that backstory.
I am getting on a bit mind!
They should’ve got Idris Elba a few years back, he’s too old now ( imo )
Best bit of tv for a whileThe Penguin finale! Wow. Tragic. I wrestled between Sofia and Oz the whole series, who I rooted for....well not any more.
Fantastic series.
What did Fleming know, him and Roald Dahl were off their Tits writing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. x Oh .... and who wrote the screenplay for '' You only live twice''...... You gussed it............ Roald Dahl............................Beaked to FFFF the pair of them. xxSeem to remember Daniel Craig getting a lot of grief when he was first cast due to his hair colour.
Fleming described Bond as 'approximately 6ft, 167lbs (183cm, 76kg), with a slim build, tanned skin, cold blue-grey eyes and a slightly cruel twist to his mouth. His hair is jet-black and cut short, with a lock shaped like a comma falling across his forehead. He has a three-inch scar on his right cheek'.
Probably only Dalton and Connery have ever been close to the book physical description.
I really don’t know what to think now after watching thatJust watched "Lucan" on BBC iplayer well worth a watch ,it follows the son of the woman murdered by Lucan trying to find out where he is or if he is still alive.
I know mate ,I know which way I see it but I don't want to say on here as people will need to watch it and make there own mind up.I really don’t know what to think now after watching that![]()
Finished The Penguin....hmmmm, Silo S1 (haven't seen it) or The Day of the Jackal next. Choices.
