Silo is a million times better than Jackal.

Silo is great. Watched the first episode of the new series and am now in two minds as to whether I want to watch it week to week or let it build up

Me and the missus finished Sweetpea, loved the first 4 eps, thought it fell off a cliff the final 2 and just became ridiculous. Basically Mean Girls with a murder element isn’t it. Shame really as Ella Purnell is brilliant.

A nine part miniseries adaptation of the book Say Nothing released yesterday. It’s on Hulu in the US, and Disney+ everywhere else. I thought it was good and pretty faithful to the book, although huge amounts had to be left out simply due to time constraints. More than anything else I’d recommend the book, as it’s one of the most gripping non fiction books I’ve ever read. But this is also good and worth a watch IMO.

Thought it was great. Well made and devoid of many of the usual cliches associated with the subject matter. Acting in the major roles was superb. Probably the best series or film Made about the troubles.

Landman, just started on Paramount is very impressive.

2 episodes in and Billy Bob Thornton is owning it and channelling his best Bad Santa vibes in it. Some of the one liners from him, his daughter and wife are very very funny. Excellent show based on first two episodes.

Watched the first episode last night. Particularly enjoyed the exchange with his daughter about "rules". As you say. Very very funny. Looking like it's good enough to be a binge watch, but there's so many good shows on at the moment so will probably keep it to one episode a night.

He’s an excellent all round actor, but he’s born to play the psycho baddie roles.
