TV Series

Fabulous final episode of season 1 for The Day of the Jackal.

The agency is class...every episode 9/10

Landman too...top notch.

Dune as well

Pity im not able to binge watch these for 5 not yet made seasons...brilliant tv at the moment
I’m gonna check The Agency out - just read it’s a version of the French series The Bureau, which is criminally underrated

Can't believe I've waited so long to start watching for a second time Boardwalk Empire.
Having done so with Sopranos, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul and The Wire and enjoying them more second time around I've just watched the first five episodes of Series One and it brilliant.

Speaking of older series, never saw OZ before, brilliant so far, found it in one of those IMBD top 100 series.

Bloody hell! Please don’t remind me of things like that - Christ that makes me feel old!🤣
Had to double check as couldn’t believe it, actually ended 9 years ago 🤯
16 years ago! The Wire and The Shield was finishing around this time, with The Sopranos the year prior.

The early 2000s really was a golden age of TV.

Thr Bureau was class, you may want to give it a few weeks to binge the agency. Better to watch in one sitting im sure.

Never got through boardwalk empire...stopped better call saul as well after season 1

Breaking bad i managed to get through but the wife made it a hard watch....kept trying to forward through her scenes.

OZ ?

Just finished Man on the Inside, with Ted Danson. Nothing too heavy, a gentle half hour comedy drama. If you like Only Murders In the Building, this is fairly reminiscent of it, tackling the issues of getting older, loneliness and a mystery to be solved.

Yes Oz, 97-03. 6 seasons.

Its a prison show, Oz is, Oswald State Correctional Facility. The series looks at Prison life in The US, through an array of lenses of different gangs/individuals etc, Mafia, Gang bangers, Latino, Nazi's, Bikers. Muslims and how they all exist together etc in the prison or not. It can be harrowing but its quality TV so far. Don't know how ive missed it up until now.

Oz was the forerunner for the Sopranos and the Wire and many say put HBO on the map and broke new ground in TV production.

Parenthood is now in netflix, going to give that a go soon. Meant to see a forgotten classic too

Done by the same people as Friday night lights so I have high hopes

Hopefully they'll get six foot under on there soon too as it's on the US netflix
