I love a good Harlan Coben novel and can't understand why Netflix insist on setting the adaptations in the UK (as opposed to the US in the novels) and using really 2nd rate actors (Lenny Henry being the latest example)

What have you thought about Traitors so far? I went through the Aus and NZ versions over the summer and the format remained more or less the same. They seem to be switching it up a bit this time round. Only time will tell whether this format upgrade works. Certainly the Faithful have worked out other tools to out the Traitors at the expense of winnings but thats lunacy really.

I like it mate. Not watched any of the other countries to be fair. Are they any good?

Probably a lot cheaper to make here. Haven’t read any of his books but the show was awful. Only persisted with it to see what happens, should have just read the plot on Wikipedia.

Just binged a 3 episode documentary on Netflix called The Kings of Tupelo.

Absolutely bonkers stuff. Like a cross between Tiger King and a Coen Brothers movie.

Think everyone been poor, the last one with Michelle Keegan was rubbish

7/7 The London Bombings. Seems so long ago but still remember it. Think an enquiry recently finished at the back end of last year, hence this series coming out. It’s on the BBC.

They seem to be accentuating the poet-warrior as regards the Paddy Mayne character.

He has more monologues to deliver, and the Irish brogue is laid on pretty thick.

I enjoyed this series, very slick and entertaining.

A lot of stress on PTSD from witnessing the horrors of war.

Finished this today, really enjoyed it
