Severance finale

Just watched it, I can't be the only one that thought Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Harper and longley were going to run out.

Firefly

I've been hearing good stuff about this for years, but I figured it'd be just another bland Star Wars like franchise and skipped watching it. Well, how wrong was I.

It's truly a special show, and I can genuinely say I loved every second of it. It's filled with charming characters, and they managed to get me invested already from the first episode. I also loved that the show had such great humour (it had me laughing out loud several times, which is kinda rare for me as I often just find "modern" hollywood comedy feeling way too forced).

Man I hate that this got cancelled. Guess I need to try to get a hold of Serenity in one way or another, as it's not on any streaming services that I can find.

I resubbed to Disney+ solely to watch this, and it was worth the money and then some. Honestly, Morena Baccarin alone was worth every penny. Nathan Fillion was superb also. As someone who's got thousands of hours in Destiny 1 and 2, it was great seeing "Cayde" in real life, and it's obvious to me that Bungie got a lot of inspiration from Mal, when they wrote the character.

Even the PS2 quality CGI couldn't hurt this shows charm one bit.

10/10

Now I'm strongly considering re-watching Shōgun, just to get maximum value out of the one month I'm staying subscribed to these clowns.

Think it's great. Have watched it through a couple of times. Great character writing

Watching Ten Pound Poms on BBC, a drama about people in the 1950's emigrating from the UK to Australia for the price of £10 boat ticket. When I watch them on the beach having a nice time in the sunshine, makes me slightly Jealous as I'm sat in my cold dark living room, listening to the rain hammer against the window

Watched episode 1 of ‘We Own This City’ last night

Cliche’s and bad accents everywhere

Did enjoy recognising some filming locations though
Thought this myself, quite the usual stereotypical “scouzers” schtick, surely they could have got more local actors/actresses with the real accent to have played most of the parts. Underwhelming and unremarkable. The plassy rs will probably love it.

Enjoyed spotting the locations as well, but can’t help feel it will just give the media more bullets to fire at us.

Binged gangs of London season 3 and enjoyed it again, but because of Facebook algorithms my Facebook reels showed up a post of whatever tv review show Richard osman does and the lady who hosts the show with him mentioned episode 5 of the the 1st season, so I watched it again today and I have to say in my opinion that’s one of the best episodes of a tv show ever.
