I think we dont have to worry as nothing will be confirmed until after the U21 and if nugent and vaughan get a chance to play together then that will be the deciding factor for moyes to justify the bid that he may or may not make afterwards, If nugent is at a tournament then he can't sign for anyone, and I believe that a deal has been agreed in the january transfer window that we have just had. I think the deal is done and dusted to be honest.

I dont think the club would have agreed a fee in January, simply because

a) Preston were sitting pretty,

b) Why would you agree a fee for a player in a inflated time of the year like Jan when there are a limited number of players up for grabs. Why not wait untill the summer untill hes one in a jungle of players seeking moves.

c) You have all summer to play brinkmanship if interested i.e. people forget its in P.N.E.'s intrests to do a deal as soon as possible, 5-7 million is a lot of tranfer activity for a club like them if they want to bring players in and make a dash for the Prem.
