So I am reading Skysports and I see Sunderland are 'reported to have made an offer'. The price they are talking about is around 7million. WTF??? 7million for a Championship striker who is an entirely unknown quantity in the PL?? By all accounts he should have a goal tally of around 12 at the U-21's tourney, but he has 1.

I am happy he is an Evertonian, but for him, at that price is just plain STUPID. [Poor language removed], I think 4million is too much for him. Remember we picked up a PL striker that hit nigh on 20 goals for 8.6million last summer.

These reports of a bid being made by sunderland are true, the reports that he has made his mind up are bull though. The reports are"He has told friends he is going to sunderland", that is where the reports have grown from. I would believe nothing yet. Also, I think moyes may go for Koumas before Nugent(If an agreement is not already in place for nugent). Just a hunch.

Also, from the last 2 england U21 games, Nugent seems to burn so many chances it is scary.

Nuggent is heavily overpriced but Sunderland are desperate and more importantly willing to pay the incredible fee off £7 million.

There is no way he is worth that ammount of money especially considering he is out of contract next year.

The player is desperate to sign for the blues but there is no way Moyes will match the fee Sunderland have offered.

There is no way Nugent is worth paying 7 million for, even tho he is a blue!! Think we could spend the money better, although we need another forward when we get rid of Beattie
