I remember a certain John Stones being skinned at right back. It's clearly not his position, but I feel he has done well given the circumstances. This lad will be a good player, no doubt in my mind.

Another solid performance and I really like him. He's quick and strong, good in the air. He bombed forward a couple of times well, but lacks a bit of confidence.

Should have done better on their first goal but it's a learning experience for him. He didn't look out of place and did an awful lot well in the game. He will get better like Galloway has when his confidence grows.

Not as polished as Stones or Galloway but very quick and strong.

Pacy and quite strong. Looks fine when defending. The only downside is his tech is smiliar to the level of Hibbert.

He's a really good defender, make no mistake about it
The fact that we're comparing him to Stones and Galloway is a compliment to what's happening at the club
Compare to pre-Coleman when we played Hibbo, Neville and Heitinga at RB
He's had only 2 starts in the league - he's class.

Has the look of a man still finding his feet, but with every intention of doing so.

I like his balance, he looks solid with the ball, and the Hibbert inference is way off the mark.

Has real snide hidden away in there and it will be good to see him take the next step.

I'm not saying he is exactly like Hibbert! What I mean is in our squad of exciting young defenders he is the one that is clearly a defender first and hard to beat, but will have to work harder on the technical aspects more than most. That's what I meant with the Hibbert reference. He is decent enough on the ball - really improved in this area since last year.

It was more of a tactical move. We needed to score goals and you can't honestly say that he provided anything going forward. He had a solid match but RM wanted to stack the mid field to create pressure and make it difficult for West Brom to bring the ball out of the back without resorting to the long ball.
