That'd be normal though as he's the name in the press at the moment wouldn't it?

tbh although playing career is always initially a good thing, i think you find it really... in the end.. doesn't mean a thing.Depends. I like both Koeman's and De Boer's upbringing and playing careers which will steep them in the winning mentality a bit. Although a good playing career is obviously not the be all and end all.
There's pros and cons to everyone I suppose.
I've just looked at Emery's career. Woeful playing. Can get over that of course.
Decent to a point management before Sevilla.
Guess I'm just into Dutch things at the moment.
Unless he goes to a title-challenging team in one of the top 5 European leagues, I can see it. Sevilla would never win the league while Barca and Real maintain their La Liga hegemony, he's already had CL with Sevilla. If he stays there, what's the aim? Slightly better league position and win the EL again?
I'd say the challenge of proving himself in the Premier League, along with the riches that come with a PL club contract would be an exciting draw.
Hahahahaha ok lads
He's got CL football again next season and will be highly sort after when one of the bigger jobs comes up
But yer, He will defo come here because we can pay him more and have money to sign players
So how much would he want to manage us moutsgoat you reckon ?

Look at alex ferguson, jose, wenger, etc the majority of top managers have all been playing level wise at the lower end of the scale imo.
Telegraph are a fairly reliable source I'd say?
If there was no chance whatsoever, why hold talks?

I have no idea mate, I personally cant see him having an interest, think hes content at Sevilla for now.
From what I can see, hes getting less than 1m a season at Sevilla, much less.
He also turned down West Hams 3m a year, if the rumours can be believed, if we could get him to the table, couldnt see him "costing us" more than 3.5-4m a year.
Good luck getting him to that table tho IMO.
