Underrated Players

Some might say this fella was very underrated. What do you reckon @Eggs ? ;)

some (of the grounds) that I not only played at but also scored a goal or two.
Elland Rd, Old Trafford two particular favourites. Elland Rd and Anfield two particularly good surfaces back in the day. Goodison, Villa Park and little Edgely Park are other favourites.

Had Sheedy played for another club he'd have been a 2nd coming, but for injury Bracewell would have been what Lampard became.
The last few years of GOAT frenzy over Messi and Ronaldo is just clickbait, and I know it's because I'm old enough, but Pele, Socrates, Cruyff and Ronaldinho all have a greater claim than them, each of them changed and improved football.

I don't know if they have more of a claim than Messi and Ronaldo but they were certainly more "fun" to watch for me. Talented mavericks as opposed to brilliant robots.

He is on the possible list as his life is a good (yet tragic) story.

I don't really have many Brits on the list actually purely due to the fact that most people know them (or of them anyway.)
Do you have any Polish names in there? The very first I could think of is Wlodzimierz Lubanski. Wonderful goalscorer who started playing for national team when he was 16 and was on the verge of signing for Real Madrid.

So many wasted careers due to being Born on the wrong side of the Iron Curtain.

Yeah had a few Polish players on there, even the greats seem to be forgot about somewhat. Lato for example was one of the best in the world yet barely gets a mention these days. Even the likes of Zmuda and Deyna don't really get mentioned as much as they should do. Other than Boniek and Lewandowski nobody else seems to get much of a shout out.

Lobanski was certainly one of them, guaranteed goals everywhere he went. Robert Godocha was another and Jerzy Gorgon was on the maybe list along with Ernest Pohl (not enough information really) and Marek Citko would have went in my wasted talent list as injuries and some poor career choices destroyed him.
