I've seen Reg live twice. Both shows very similar despite being years apart. He's a quick witted, amiable guy on the TV programmes, and I guess he still is in his live shows, but he just doesn't really have the ability to hold a full show. It became a rather tiresome 'recollection of growing up in a black household' show which is far from original.That disappoints me too. Love everything I've seen him in. Why was he bad mate?

I think 'disappointment' is the right word. Not unfunny, just not as good as you'd hope.
