Up For The Cup ( Chelsea Quarter Final Buildup )

I predict...

Chelsea will go 1-0 up through Eden Hazard in the 12th minute and Goodison quietens. On the stroke of half-time, however, Everton get one back as Funes Mori finds himself free in the box and heads it into the corner. Chelsea get into the lead on 67 minutes, as Oscar produces a wonder strike which Joel has no chance of saving. Everton are level once more on 78' as Lukaku makes no mistake in converting substitute Deulofeu's trademark cross. A player from either team, likely a midfielder, will go down with a bad injury and takes a while to sort out, leading to a minimum of 7 minutes of stoppage time. Goodison is a bear pit as the 7th minute approaches and Everton press Chelsea hard. Eventually one of our full-backs, probably Coleman, receives the ball in a dangerous area and crosses it into the box, only for John Terry to deflect it into his own net in the dying seconds, making it 3-2 to Everton at full-time.

We'll end up drawing Crystal Palace at Wembley while Arsenal are in a London derby with West Ham. After that, I'm not too sure what will happen.
Then you wake up, and have to clean your sheets.

Diddums.

Guus Hiddink slams FA's fixture scheduling as Chelsea face trip to Everton three days after Champions League clash PSG

Guus Hiddink has become the latest manager to criticise the FA’s scheduling of televised cup ties, with Chelsea annoyed that they have to play their FA Cup quarter-final against Everton on a Saturday evening, just three days after playing Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Chelsea manager Hiddink is frustrated as Chelsea were originally scheduled to play a Premier League game on the Sunday and had assumed their FA Cup tie would be on the same day.

But the BBC have chosen to move Chelsea trip to Everton as their prime time game at 5,30pm on the Saturday evening.

CHELSEA'S NEXT FIVE FIXTURES
Norwich (March 1)

Stoke (March 5)

PSG (March 9)

Everton (March 12)

West Ham (March 19)

‘We have a tight schedule with Norwich on Tuesday and then Stoke next weekend and then PSG. Then, surprisingly, the Everton FA Cup game was put on a Saturday instead of a Sunday.

‘Normally we would have played Liverpool in the Premier League that Sunday. I don't know who has decided that, all of a sudden, the kick off was Saturday afternoon.

‘It was astonishing that people could change the kick-off time. We have PSG on the Wednesday night. Hopefully it doesn't go into extra-time.

‘The players, not just Chelsea players, need at least two days recovery and a third day to start up a bit when the intensity of the league is like this. The medical people at the clubs and FA and the Premier League should make this known.

Hiddink admitted that he had considerable sympathy for Manuel Pellegrini, who played a weakened side against Chelsea last weekend because TV demands meant City had to play on Sunday afternoon and then travel to Dynamo Kiev and play the Capital One Cup final today.

Chelsea were the beneficiaries last weekend, beating City 5-1 but Hiddink said: ‘We have to protect the players as well. Every club and the FA have medical departments. The doctors should stand up and say: “FA, TV, whoever: Hey!”’

Tough cheddar "Goose"lol

Chelsea are subsidising their fans ticket/travel costs yet again, big club,my.....lol

All premier league clubs get an allocation of money from the away support fund. The allocation was, I think for seasons 2014/15 and 2015/16 £200k a season to each club. Some clubs decided to offer reductions on the cost of tickets others offered cheap travel. The allocation was equal to each clubs irrespective of how many they took way which on the face of it seemed fair but where clubs take fewer away the money went further so some clubs were able to go even further and provide cheaper tickets, subsidised travel and I think Swansea even provide refreshments

Just wonder if the managers newly found pair of Cojones will extend to his No:1 striker in the cup against Chelsea. For any other game for me the big man starts no question, but his record/performances against Chelsea since he joined have been really poor and we need everyone at it to beat these.

For only the second time I can ever remember there is a queue to get onto the eticketing page.

They went on general sale at 9, already says they are limited.
