Just saw No time To Die

It was absolutely terrible. Just shockingly bad.

So many crap jokes from Phoebe Waller Bridge. The ending was so poor. Rami Malek offers nothing other than a stereotype bond villain performance.

Bit weird you've singled out Phoebe Waller Bridge given there are about 5 different writers on the film, including the director. I agree that Rami Malek was a bit wasted but I think the ending sort of had to be the way it was.

Given Daniel Craig has wanted to leave for a couple of films now. I reckon he only agreed to do the film was if he was properly written out of it going forward{/SPOILER}

She was the only one I'd heard of being involved is why. It was the crap jokes that didn't land that made me think of her as well.

The plot is an absolute mess though.

Blofeld has a bomb planted at vesper's tomb and spectre agents ready to show up but he didn't actually want them to kill him he says later on. Just wanted him to question the missus and jib her off.

The first half of the film was actually alright but then it just goes off the wall after Felix dies. Why is M working on a side lab developing biological nanobot weapons? Oh and he doesn't see it coming that they would be used as a weapon like this. So bad.

Malek's villain wants revenge on Spectre and then what? Gets that sorted and then just decides he wants Bonds missus? He's going to spread his nanobots for revenge on what? Something about people wanting oblivion?

The ending was all over the place. Still don't think they needed to off Bond so conclusively for a send off.

I agree the plot was a mess but I Bond films never exactly make sense. I guess I switch my brain off when watching Bond so don't think too much about it. But I agree with your points on how stupid some of it is. Also it was criminal how under used Ana de Armas was as I thought she was brilliant in what was essentially a cameo

This looks ace. Out on Netflix Nov 29th. It's the amazing story of Nims Purja and his remarkable attempt to climb all 14 of the worlds highest peaks above 8000M) in seven months, (the original record was 7 years)!

He warmed up for this task by speed climbing Everest, Lhotse and Makalu in just 48 hours. The guy is a steely-eyed mountain man. Ex-Gurkha, ex-SBS. He doesn't know when to quit. He's probably the best modern high-altitude climber in the world today, however being Nepalese and of Sherpa descent he has never gained the sort of recognition that would be given to a western climber who accomplished similar climbs.

Anyway - can't wait for this one

Oh and he was part of a team of Nepalese climbers that became the first team ever to summit K2 in winter (January 2021)

Remind me when this is out nearer the time mate, as I`ve got a head like a sieve.

It looks amazing.
