% confirm that the first movie was a load of bollocks!I’ve been almost 2 decades in the profession, and nothing that happened in the movie has happened to me!
Anyway, I came across this the other day:

-The Rock has grown enough has an actor for Marty to want to cast him in one of his films; or
-He believes he can direct an amazing performance out of The Rock, proving once again that it’s not the actors, but the director that makes a film great.
Either way, I trust Scorsese’s judgment.
