I know, I know. Don't all shout at once. Did you all enjoy your sleep? - 'Nightmare' doesn't even come close. Anything that could go wrong, did. Everything from server time outs during transfers, to electric failing in the house, to ISP going down.

The forum upgrade cost a fair whack ($250) and although there is no visible improvement; it has set stronger foundations in place for our ever growing community which will be utilised shortly.

I reluctantly had to upgrade before I’d have liked so please excuse the momentary step back, it was a necessity for longevity in the grand scheme.

Please use this thread to report all issues.

Current Issues;

1. The search index is still being rebuilt so excuse any search feature. It'll also impact speed.

2. The general appearence.

3. This above forums
Warning: tempnam() [function.tempnam]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File() is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/grandold:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in [path]/includes/class_upload.php on line 275

Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: Filename cannot be empty in [path]/includes/class_upload.php on line 281

Apologies to those who lost a few posts when the forum was back temporarily last night - I realised I needed to do the whole thing again...

Sorry if this is making trouble, but I can't open the 2nd page of this thread. When I click on it the page loads with this message on top

Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/srv/apache/www/htdocs/tmp/vbupload45708) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/grandold:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in [path]/includes/class_upload.php on line 281

Warning: fopen(/srv/apache/www/htdocs/tmp/vbupload45708) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in [path]/includes/class_upload.php on line 281

and then this appeared as a vBulletin Message

Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
File: /home/grandold/public_html/forum/includes/class_core.php
Line: 4482

and then this at the bottom

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/srv/apache/www/htdocs/tmp/vbupload45708) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/grandold:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in [path]/includes/class_vurl.php on line 181

Getting this message when I click the 2 for the second page:
Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
File: /home/grandold/public_html/forum/includes/class_core.php
Line: 4482
All repeating ourselves as we couldn't see the second page.

And the editbox is all screwed up (looks like possibly a missed clear?) This is currently typing below the Edit Post | Reply | Reply With Quote div and the Reply to Thread b utton on the left. While the Save bar is way up at the top of the edit box.

Added: now it's working again.

Danny, I don't know if you did anything but I can view the 2nd page now.

And I thought duplicate accounts were illegal. :P :)

Just a small suggestion but, for me, the colour difference between read and unread thread icons isn't that great...the blue could stand to be a bit more royal as it doesn't stand out enough from the grey. This might be compounded by the fact that I'm running at 1920 X 1080 so I use color more than the icon itself to tell what I've read and not read.

Thanks for the Cookie error report. The Facebook connection seemed to be causing that, I have disabled until it can be resolved.

Gwladys, the thread icons will be changed completely. We're working on revamping the look. The ones you see currently are default.

you have to ask permission of the site owner to be allowed a duplicate account, he must have given himself permission

Also, is the quick reply the only way of posting now?

I'd love to see the thread title changed to a lighter shade of blue once you've posted in it and there have been no replies.

I can't bet on vBookie - there's just no boxes to enter amounts, and i can't post a reply in that thread now either. Not complaining lid, just trying to help
