I just got done watching all 3 matches. Sure the ref was terrible but we dug our own graves in the 1/2 half. It may be a blessing in disguise because I see Slovenia now packing it in tight and trying to force a 0-0 or 1-1 draw against England. And after going 2-0
Its kind of nice to know that for the most part playing 3 v 10 with a decent ref Donovan, Bradley and Dolo can single handedly beat a good Slovenian side.
I think one reason why we are better behind is that Bradley has to get forward. His runs in the midfield and the box are always smart.
Between this team and Everton I'm expecting my 1st spot on my lung about 18 months now.

Howard 6 - guess he can't bail us out every match.
Cherundolo 8 - the smartest player in the back by far. Provided steady play and been one of our best players at a position we were supposed to be weak at. For a guy who isn't very big and isn't much of leaper he was very good when forced to play RB/CB when Gooch went off.
DeMerit 6 - Is playing better than I thought he would. He (and about 4 others) didn't close the man down on the 1st goal. Not sure why Watford got rid of him (maybe they thought he wouldn't be healthy). He's been fantastic on crosses in the box though.
Gooch 5 - He like alot of other had problems in the box but you could tell he's not healthy. He's been working his behind off though.
Bocaengra 3 - I thought he been lousy this tourney. He's never been a good defender but is usually solid going forward and we haven't seen that either. A 23 yr. old Feinhaber shouldn't be telling a veteran where to have make runs.
Donovan 1 - after going 2-0 down he was his old petulant self calling the fans out for booing and then doing F-all on the pitch. Oh wait a minute that was another player. Donovan was fantastic and excuse me while I bang my head on the desk because he could have been ours. Because he didn't take the game seriously from 2004 until Beckham arrived I knew he was going to have a good game when he had his "I will eat your children to win this match face on" It was the same Angry LD that Hull City faced. How he got that goal given that it came off his right foot is beyond me. Goal of the tourney. 8/10
Torres 2 - gets a 2 for a decent free kick. I like him but that was shades of Landon in 2006. I think he got a taste of what real football is like today. There aren't many card happy Mexican/Spanish to protect you in world football and he's going to have to learn the physical part of the game. He was scared s-itless the whole half and by the 20th min was afraid of the ball.
Bradley 8 - like Tx said he's only there because of his dad. Now if we could only shore up our defense to allow him to go forward more. Landon is the reason why I watch the team. Bradley is the reason why I love the team.
Dempsey 3 - Terrible, then again he's our Cahill, when he's not scoring he's not doing anything, so I'm expecting a late goal that gets us out of the group stage on Wed.
Altidore 6 - Its a shame he's not the brightest bulb. Sloveina wasn't doubling him and it took him about 60 min to figure out that they can't handle him physically. When he did realize this he was very good.
Findley 3 - The guy has to realize that when you play the AJ role you have to make a nuisence of yourself and put pressure on the back line when they have the ball. You are also the "runner" so when the keeper is sitting with the ball for a good 30sec and a 2-0 lead don't stand there ITS YOUR JOB TO MAKE HIM PICK IT UP!!
Feinhaber 6 - thought he brought some creativity to the offensive end.
Edu 5 - I thought he was nervous but he did produce the "winning' goal. I think Clark has the starting spot locked up against the French A team now.
