Just to clarify the Esk he always said no one else would buy Usmanov out.. an Usmanov always said he never sell to Kroenke. So the Esk was right no one else did buy him out...

The surprise is Usmanov has sold to Kroenke... very surprising

He was also insistent that Kroenke had no need to buy him out, and that it was actually in his best interests not to, so he got that wrong.

Well I am naturally cautious mate, and will believe he's sold as of 3:02. I will then start to consider the likelihood of him coming here! Everton has made me naturally cautious, so I don't take much for granted I'm afraid, one step at a time! :D

He's 100% sold his shares but like you im sceptical that he will end up here as we dont get nice things. Knowing our luck he will buy Newcastle and turn them into the next City!

Let's be fair to Dave here, if Usmanov is indeed a dodgy sod then maybe it would be best to stay clear of him?

Perhaps that's why he didn't eventually buy Arsenal? Maybe they knew something about him that we don't?

No offence meant mate, but honestly anyone getting all moral about usmanov is just looking for excuses to continue wallowing in the Everton being forever crap tag

Dies he have a chequered past, for sure, are s lot of the things written about him at best without facts - yup, are done of the things written outright wrong, yup.

His past included allegations of rape and a conviction for a financial crime, both where politically motivated charges by people more powerful than he was at the time who he's rubbed up the wrong way.

Apparently it's fine to believe one version of him but not the other, the man is close to Putin, so basically do the math on how that connection influences any media in the west and their opinion of him.

Meanwhile some abhorrent oligarchs are trumpeted as some kind of saviour by the west

Show me a man with that much money with completely clean hands though.

is more likely, as:

a) it's London
b) rocking up with Mosh would be sailing too close to the outer-borders of financial regulations

Why would he plough millions into sponsoring the training ground, to just then buy West Ham? It doesn't make sense.
