Why did Koeman leave a stable job at Southampton and risk it all. Why did Allardyce come out of retirement. Why has Brands resisted Arsenal and turned down Chelsea to join Everton, if he had to sell 15% of the wage bill before he could buy?
Why would he plough millions into sponsoring the training ground, to just then buy West Ham? It doesn't make sense.
Who says we have been? Bottom line is if you can get a low interest loan way less than what you would get commercially why not take up that offer. That way the money you would have spent can be put into the team.
This may or may not be the case but just because you have billions doesn't mean you want to give it away when there are suitable alternatives.
Points to Twitter... they are that way mate... Or maybe try under any rock?Wheres all the nobody would buy his Arsenal shares posse now hey?
Very true. We're not meant to have nice things.Neither can I but like I said, we are Everton. Everytime we have a bit of potential positivity, it all goes horribly wrong.
Yes there's a lot in that full stop. I do reiterate there may well be other explanations that make sense too, but if Usmanov was to become involved it would certainly fit with the wider pattern of evidence.
The Joe Anderson thing I think can be linked back to him never having agreed to fund the stadium prior to Elstone dropping it out of the blue at the AGM. That was not discussed previously (by all accounts) and while it proved to be a clever move I would say it was out of self preservation from Elstone to deflect from how little he had achieved in the months before that.
Anderson needs the responsibility of clearing the funding like a whole in the head in all honesty and will probably be quite pleased to lose it (though it would be a good deal for the council).
I have seen Conn (always quite critical of Usmanov/Moshiri) state no intention of moving. We will have to see what emerges. I wonder if he will want to run things in the background if he "comes on board". This is the preferred approach of many Russian owners.
You are right though, when you say too many people seem to know a bit too much about whats happening The Fact that Kia bloke showed his client to ourselves (Bernard) yesterday is telling. It's interestingly it doesn't appear to be universally accepted either and it certainly hasn't trickled down to most supporters or many mainstream media outlets as to whats happening.
Simple, really. We pay massive wages.
.
The investing from the outside piece is interesting.
What today does is free up Mosh and Usminov, from allegations of owning two clubs.
What if USM decide Everton is there "Key sporting partner", USM shirt sponser, USM Goodsion Park, USM Stadium by the Docks etc.
You can see where im going with this, the routes of getting money into the club just became an awful lot less complicated, perhaps that explains our "hange in approach" to this window.
But those routes have still got to be in line with normal practice. It’s against the rules to try to get money in by sponsoring above normal levels. The investing from the outside piece is interesting.

Apparently Bernard wages is an example £200k
