Just dont want him investing in another club in England as it would be a disaster for us.

I dont mind him not coming here so long as he invests elswhere in Europe. West Ham and Newcastle fans in particular would become unbearable aswell.

Come on Usmanov come make us great again!

Usmanov literally have Moshiri his entire fortune as a gift.

Again, I can't stress it enough- as long as Moshiri is at Everton then Usmanov is involved, whether or not he will ever legally own a share. The training ground is named after him FFS!

Agreed. These types of MASSIVE business deals (dealings worth million, even billion of pounds) obviously take time, and decisions are not made overnight. The day after Moshiri was announced, I was convinced AU would be involved in some way. Then along came the Finch Farm deal. Kenwright still in place (for a transition period), recent rumblings of Kenwrights resignation......and now AU he sells his Arsenal shares. Coincidence? I may be wrong but I think not. This all seems to point to him buying into Everton, big time. I of course could be 100% wrong, and with this being Everton (where usually nice things and luck don't happen), but my gut just tells me otherwise. I hope, for my sake, all Evertonian's sakes and the club itself that this happens - as it would skyrocket EFC into the stratosphere.

Fingers crossed. It may happen. All to perfect. Which means when we all wake up tomorrow its confirmed he's bought The Red S****! Everton that! lol

Usmanov could do for Everton what Trump is currently doing for America

Sorry, got carried away. Wrong example!

The amount of media spin people believe is astonishing.

If you dont see something in quotes, dont believe it. Its essentially the journalists take on what was ACTUALLY said. Notice the reports dont have quotes from Usmanov, or his spokesperson, except about the actual sale. The part about not buying into Everton is extrapolated by a journalist as HIS opinion, based on the actual quote. That quote appears to be along the lines of "The reason Usmanov is selling his shares is not to fund a move to Everton".

Which is obviously 100% true, and says nothing about whether he wants to come to Everton or not. The #1 "reason" he is selling them is because Kroenke wont sell and he wants out of Arsenal. You can tell as much about someones intentions by what they say and what they dont say. What they COULD have said and didnt was, "Usmanov has no intentions to be investing in Everton now or in the future". Until he states something one side or the other on future plans, everything is just journo-spin.

You can be sure that if Usmanov is coming (and despite the pathetic crying from some other fans, he is) the whole thing will be done in the best way possible.

For those that think transfers are like market purchases, nope. They're more like a loan, so it wouldn't matter if Usmanov joined tomorrow or in six months. As long as an agreement in in place with Moshiri then the transfers can be made and the finances ironed out at a later date. No matter the owners or the club it's all done away from prying eyes and the tax man etc.

So Thursday, there's a fair few shocks on the way I'll bet and some less than secure heads around the city.

I don't see how it would be a disaster for us. We are assuming that Usmanov is the muscle and financier behind Moshiri. If he doesn't come to Everton it means he wasn't and somebody else probably is.

If he joins another club it will disappoint us fans because we have been building up our hopes on very little concrete evidence... but not a disaster.

Be a disaster in we have to complete with 7 clubs instead of 6 for transfers and all those other 7 still/would have more financial muscle than us.

Make no mistake if Usmanov rocks up at another prem club thats the top 7 boxed off unless one of the top 6 collapses.

We are spending money but not much more than clubs like West Ham, Fulham, Wolves etc.

If Usmanov buys into us then we can start hoping for £60/70 million pound CL quality players coming in 200/250k a week deals - something currently not possible under Moshiri.

todays announcement has caught EVERYONE off guard that is for sure.

nobody expected this to happen in this way (selling to Kroenke) and this quickly.

no one can predict what will happen in the next few days... just how the billionaires like it.

tis like a big cliffhanger

Think some of us should hold our breaths until something happens, have we not learnt at all from the recent past, not to give it the big’un until it’s justified. I can get the speculation but some of the stuff on here is embarrassing.
