Think some of us should hold our breaths until something happens, have we not learnt at all from the recent past, not to give it the big’un until it’s justified. I can get the speculation but some of the stuff on here is embarrassing.

100% this. Our fans get way too excited and it just gives the beauts across the park ammo. Lets wait and see what the coming months bring in both the ownership and stadium developments.

Just dont want him investing in another club in England as it would be a disaster for us.

I dont mind him not coming here so long as he invests elswhere in Europe. West Ham and Newcastle fans in particular would become unbearable aswell.

Come on Usmanov come make us great again!

Heaven forbid that any of our fans might get a little carried away :coffee:

It's difficult to hold it all in when you've been saying this will happen for quite a while. Then the wheels start to turn and it finally looks to be happening right now. Even before today's shock news I was saying that it was looking more and more likely that he would come here, I don't have any information more than the obvious stuff that everyone can see.

yeah I may be prematurely celebrating but I genuinely cannot see another alternative for how this plays out. He has worked with Moshiri for years, trusts him and has bankrolled him. He has sponsored the training ground and wants control of a Premiership club. Forget the others, the Premiership is where the big cash is and will be for some time. if he wanted some foreign club then he could have bought one years ago.

We are an untapped resource, ripe for the picking. We have the greatest fans and the greatest history in the premiership. We are a club with nothing to be ashamed of, a club than can hold it's head up high. We need investment and then watch us go.

A new stadium, world class players and right in the heart of the city. Stand aside pretenders, the real football royalty are about to take the throne.

That speech brought a little tear to my eye mate.

I can’t imagine any journalist having any contacts ‘close to Usmanov’. Not one of them even knew he was selling his shares, not one of them. All journalists do now is peddle United and Liverpool click bait.

It was in the Financial Times last month that he was selling.

im thinking Planning Permission is on its way for our new ground, hence the reason Usmanov has sold up. he is coming to fund the new stadia and exercise the rights Moshiri has in place to take over from kenwright and his cronies
Nailed it for me.

Too many variables are falling into our lap for this not to have been long in the planning.

Good times ahead Bloos.

It's early days too much speculation one will hope hr pen joins back up with Moshri and BK is given a non acting job title cashing in on his shares and we the new have a new chairman with financial clout .....?

They get carried away when Klopp wears a new baseball cap.

This isn't about them, it's about us. There's no point goading them, they'll hit reality soon enough and they'll need all the sympathy they can get.
