One of the few people in the world who might be interested in, and has the means to, put us up there with Man City. Of course this won’t happen, we’re Everton FFS.

But in terms of personal returns it would still be worthwhile? Perhaps he likes the idea of having the pissing off power that Kroenke had/has? Even taking the figures guessed at for the stadium and team investment it's still going to be a vanity project, the prospect of spitting in Kroenke's face as we leap frog them is incentive enough, to sit amongst Europe's elite would drive him further.
Still speculation of course but that statement, on top of all else and the belief that Bill et al were supposed to relinquish more shares after a certain time as part of Moshiri coming on board would suggest this statement is a little squeal for help.
If you look at the values of the clubs we consider our peers, including the one he’s just bailed out of. Then look at what Moshiri paid for half of EFC then there’s definitely money to be made here, especially with the stadium sorted. There’s also plenty to be made on the dock development itself. All speculation like.

As a holder of ONE share I am quite pleased that someone is standing up and asking to protect my value. I am not a guardian of the club, simply someone who wanted a "part" of the club I supported since I was a foetus.

Statement was a bit cringeworthy but the idea that I would lose my share is a bit sad to me.

The number of private shareholders is inconsequential in voting terms, so no reason to absorb all those folks tiny holding in the club.
Give you 2500 for it.

We don’t own the docks though, he could well have or could invest in the development without Everton.

But the stadium could push up the share price eventually.
