Aye but say Usmanov God forbid kicked the bucket before the stadium was built (he's 66 and BMD isnt until 3-4 years away) would you imagine there being something in place for USM to continue its plans or could there be a situation of him leaving it all to a playboy son or wife who tells us to sod off as they have no interest in footie leaving us in a mess or simply back to square one?
Well what we know is the stadium will be part funded by Moshiri through a capital injection there is no limit on because of it being stadium funding, the rest will be debt or other investors, naming sponsorship and they haven't taken the council offer off the table either.
The 30 mill cash injection for the sponsor option and the 12 mill a year in finch farm sponsorship, thats the current limit of USM investment. A once off 30 mill payment and 12 million annual one, before the potential stadium naming rights when its built, that may or may not happen.
I assume the contracts have been signed and need to be honored with USM as company as opposed to Usminov as an individual. But assuming there is a bit of sugar in this investment somewhere for all involved you would wonder why that would change regardless if something happened to Usminov.
All hypothetical though granted.
