Read we’re negotiating with Viera. I hope that’s not true. He’s a name more than a good manager. Rather Nancy or Cherundolo if it’s gotta be one of those 3.

He’s an awful manager. Like truly truly horrendous. He was so bad he couldn’t get anything out of Eze and Olise and then got replaced by the corpse of Roy Hodgson who was way better. This would be a disaster.

The only hope is that you can get more out of him because the international game is a different level.

Surprised to see Poch in the frame but looks like there is some substance to this story. Think he'd do a good job though concern might be limited amount of time working with the players. On the plus side, he's had experience selecting from a million options in terms of players given he was in the same boat at Chelsea

Would prefer a pragmatist myself. If we're going with a rigid idealist then see if Mourinho is interested.

I think it's just the opposite. In club football you can search out players who fit your style, internationally you don't have that luxury.

I mean from game to game Poch insists on playing the way he wants to play. Managers willing to adjust to counter him tend to get results (and make him look silly in the process).
