That’s huge. Poch must have given up on club management for a while then.
We are so back. Finally looking forward to seeing what a new manager can bring to this team.
I guess I should have said I'm excited for this in the context of US soccer.Does he have the players to make an impact though ?
Looking at the US Kent’s team objectively I don’t see too many great players just decent ones.
Be interesting to see how he gets on
Good point. I go watch the Galaxy on a regular basis and often Jalen Neal is cited as being an example of the "next" generation at CB. If that's the case, Ream needs to stick around a couple more years as Neal needs to make big strides. Of course, there's others out there....Thought it was a controlled performance overall against Panama. Wonder what the 11 will look like against Mexico with 3 players already withdrawn.
I'm sure somewhere earlier in this thread, after the World Cup, I questioned our CB options. And 37 year old Tim Ream is still, deservedly, being trotted out there...
CCV and Richards would be my guess for starting pair in 2026 if I had to guess now…It’s not spectacular but not terrible. I’m more worried about us in possession and going forward. We’re still missing a lot of quality aside from Pulisic. Balogun hasn’t proven to be all he was hyped up as yet and Gio can’t stay healthy. Midfield is also so one dimensional.Thought it was a controlled performance overall against Panama. Wonder what the 11 will look like against Mexico with 3 players already withdrawn.
