And they'd be wrong. Bellingham is nice I agree, Rice is fine, but Phillips is an utter mess so on that basis the US edges it.I’d wager that overwhelming majority of people would choose Bellingham, Rice, Phillips as a midfield trio over the US lads.
It’s just not hard to get right. But if you can’t get it right internally, dump the high paid designers who are clearly awful at their job, and just the fans have a go. Pick 5 or so that you like and let it be a vote. Great for USSF and guaranteed sales for Nike. Heck you could even do it where a vote means you commit to purchasing one if it’s selected. I never purchase new kits anyways so I don’t know why I care so much ha.Nike is just so far out of their depths when it comes to football. They have like no respect from international fans, the little carry they have the owe to MJ and hip-hop culture.
They've always been crap. For 20 yrs, I had a pair of those crap upper 90s, tore the bottom of the shoe off cutting within a week of practice. I was 15, so I'm sure a lot of grown men cutting in those were doing the same thing.
And they'd be wrong. Bellingham is nice I agree, Rice is fine, but Phillips is an utter mess so on that basis the US edges it.
I'm slightly on the wind up honestly but I really believe in Adams and McKennie, I mean Juve are a mess but Weston plays for them a lot and Adams has run a game against Chelsea this season so they have a lot of quality, and Musah is a talent much like Bellingham who on his day can be dominant. It is very talented and it could be able to really front up to England's midfield if we are willing to step and play a bitFair enough mate but that's a pretty bold and eyebrow raising take
Yeah, they’re better objectively, but how are they together? I also don’t really get Phillips to be honest, especially in games England should be on the front foot. He’s unnecessary. Its basically a wash for me in midfield. It’s Englands forward line that’s going to give us major issues assuming Southgate doesn’t overthink it. Fortunately they also have Harry Maguire so we’re in with a chance.I’d wager that overwhelming majority of people would choose Bellingham, Rice, Phillips as a midfield trio over the US lads.
Rice, Bellingham and Mount could give us issues but Mount has spent the last couple of seasons as a forward and his couple of games at midfield for Chelsea haven't exactly been a seamless transition. Phillips is straight up bad, I don't care who he plays for.Yeah, they’re better objectively, but how are they together? My take has been and will be that not making it through is a massive failure. And if you do get through it could really open up for you with Group A being a bit meh and C and D only having one scary team.I always root for you guys at the world cup, have some family in the US and always want the sport to do well over there so i hope you're correct, would like you guys to go through the group ahead of Wales.
More than the midfield I need England to put out Stones and Maguire and try to play a high line. Go for it!
Really can not wait until we shred you apart.More than the midfield I need England to put out Stones and Maguire and try to play a high line. Go for it!
That's fine, we have to get through the group anywayReally can not wait until we shred you apart.
